HCC: Proudly ISO 9001: 2008 Certified

 

MAKATI, PHILIPPINES – True to Hilmarc’s Construction Corporation’s (HCC) commitment to premium quality and customer satisfaction, the company was awarded by TÜV Rheinland with the ISO 9001-2008 Certification last August 5, 2010 for Engineering and Construction Services. A simple ceremony, attended by HCC’s top executive-management was held at the TUV Rheinland Corporate Office.

ISO 9001:2008 specifies requirements for a quality management system where an organization needs to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide product that meets customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, and aims to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system, including processes for continual improvement of the system and the assurance of conformity to customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements. The requirements of the certification were successfully met by HCC within a short-period of six (6) months.

According to TÜV Rheinland’s Chief Operating Officer, Mr.Tristan Arwen Loveres, the easiest part in the ISO 9001-2008 certification is obtaining the certification itself. The greatest challenge of HCC begins upon receipt of the certification. From the moment of certification onwards, HCC has to strive hard to consistently meet the requirements of quality management system and continue to provide total customer experience. However, as stated by HCC’s President, Engr. Robert B. Henson, “with the support and commitment of the company’s top management and the cooperation of its manpower, HCC will surely maintain compliance to ISO 9001:2008 standards for its Engineering and Construction Services”.

Again, this is another milestone for HCC in achieving its vision in becoming a globally-known construction corporation.
